1Stress in modern life

With the rapid development of society, people are facing with various kinds of stress. For example, the senior students are under pressure which is college entrance examination. The graduate will have some difficulties to finding their satisfying jobs. Parents may have economic pressure to support their kids’ living expenses.  

Facing the heavy pressure,people’s opinions vary from person to person. Some people hold an idea that they want to their lives be full with all kinds of pressure and challenges. Then they want to get passions and sense of achievement by solving different stress. They are superior to ordinary ad boring life.   

On the contrary,the other have the opposite point. They think that some pressure is too difficult to overcome it. After that, they will come into being sense of failure slowly and lose confidence in life. If they were not persevering enough, they would be scared of pressure and emerge some psychological and physiological problems.   

With reference to my standpoint, to some extent, lives will be better with some moderate stress. Because stress can encourage us move on our goals and give our motivation. However, the pressure shouldn’t be too heavy in order to avoid making people feel depressed. 

随着社会的快速发展,人们面临着各种各样的压力。例如,高级学生高考压力。毕业生将有困难找到令人满意的工作。父母可能会有经济压力来支持他们的孩子的生活费用。

面临着巨大压力,人们的观点因人而异。有些人持有一个想法,他们希望他们的生活充满各种压力和挑战。然后他们想要激情和成就感通过求解不同的压力。他们是优于普通广告枯燥的生活。

相反,其他有相反的观点。他们认为一些压力太难以克服它。之后,他们会慢慢产生失败感,对生活失去信心。如果他们不够坚持,他们就会怕了压力和出现的一些心理和生理问题。

参照我的角度来看,在某种程度上,生活会更好一些温和的压力。因为压力可以鼓励我们继续我们的目标,给我们的动力。然而,压力不应该太重,以免让人感到沮丧。

As everyone knows, stress is a natural part of everyday life and there is no way to avoid it. As the pace of modern life continues to increase, we are always feeling on the go from morning till night. And it is hard to slow down. Therefore, stress goes hand in hand with the life in a competitive society.

Different people, however, think of stress quite differently. Some believe that stress is not the bad thing it is often supposed to be. They are of the opinion that a certain amount of stress is vital to provide motivation and give purpose to life. Others argue that stress contributes to one’s mental decline and hence endangers his health. According to them, relaxation, the opposite of stress, is essential for a healthy mind and body.

Personally, I’m in favor of the former view. I think it is impossible to avoid stress when one is entirely devoted to the career he pursues. In my opinion, it is only when the stress gets out of control that it can lead to poor performance and ill health.

每个人都知道,压力是日常生活中的自然部分,我们没有办法避开它。随着现代生活步伐的不断加快,我们总是感觉从早到晚忙个不停,并且很难停下来。因此,在竞争的社会里压力总是与生活相伴。

然而,不同的人对压力的想法截然不同。有的人相信压力并不像人们常说的那样是件坏事。他们认为一定的压力是给生活提供动力和目标的关键。其他人认为,压力导致智力减退从而危害健康。据他们看来,与压力相反,放松对保持身心健康是十分必要的。

就我个人而言,我更赞成第一个观点。我认为当一个人完全投入到他所追求的职业中时,压力是在所难免的。

4How to Handle Stress in Life?

We are now live in the world where the fittest will survive. So it seems unlikely that we can avoid the stress form this competitive society. And stress like a double-edged sword, which can be used by us, or hurt us. The appropriate stress can be the motivation for our success, while too much pressure can do great harm to our health and daily lives. If we cannot get rid of it, we must learn to deal with it.
First of all, we should have a right attitude to stress. It’s important for us to analysis the reasons that cause pressure. If we fear that we may not pass the examinations, then we should study harder, spend more time on the weak subjects, and ask teachers and friends for help. Then the stress on our shoulders can be relieved.
Second, we should have more confidence in ourselves. Sometimes, we lack of experience or our inner heart is not ripe enough, we just don’t know how to solve the problems, so the stress comes. We should say to ourselves that I love challenges and I am strong enough to face all of these. Failure does not mean I am a loser, it only makes me stronger.
Last but not least, we can turn to our friend to talk about our problems. They might give us some useful suggestions. Or we can simply have a short vocation; go to the place we love to relax ourselves.
In a word, the stress in our lives is inevitable. We should face it probably, have faith in ourselves and use practical ways to deal with it.

现如今,我们生活在一个适者生存的世界里。在这个充满竞争的社会,我们无法回避压力。而压力就像一把双刃剑,即可为我们所用,也可伤害我们。适当的压力可成为成功的动力,但过多压力会对我们的身体和生活造成伤害。倘若我们不能摆脱压力,就得学会处理压力。
首先,我们应该用正确的态度对待“压力”。我们要学会分析产生压力的原因。如果是因为害怕考试不能通过,那么,我们就应该努力学习,花更多的时间在薄弱的科目上,向老师同学请教。这样,在我们肩上的压力就能够缓解了。其次,我们该对自己更有信心。有时候,我们缺乏经验,内心不够成熟。我们不知道该如何处理问题,压力也随之而来。我们该对自己说:我喜欢挑战,我足够坚强去面对这一切。失败并不意味着我是弱者,这只会让我变强。最后,我们可以向朋友们倾诉自己的问题。也许他们会给我们提出有用的建议。或者,我们给自己放个短假,去自己喜欢的地方放松一下。而言之,生活中的压力无法避免。我们应该正确对待,对自己有信心,用实际方法去处理它。
