Have you found that there are a small number of students who threw rubbish about after eating their fast food these days. They threw the packing boxes or paper everywhere in the school yard--on the corridor, on flight of steps, under stairs, on the playground, in the lawn, on the bush, under the wall, into the pool and so on…What was worse, some students put the rubbish into others' bike basket. I think it is a bad phenomenon. Not only will it do harm to our health, but also it will do harm to students' moral upbringing.

So I think it is necessary for us to do something to put a check on this kind of behavior. We can tell teachers if we see someone who throws the rubbish, or we can go up to him and tell him it is not good to do that. 

Such goings on will have to stop! 

你发现,有一小部分学生扔垃圾吃完他们的快餐。他们把包装盒子或纸到处都在学校里,在走廊上台阶,下楼梯,在操场上,在草坪上,布什,在墙下,入池等等…是什么更糟的是,一些学生把垃圾放进别人的自行车篮子里。我认为这是一个不好的现象。它不仅会伤害我们的健康,还会伤害学生的道德教育。

所以我认为我们有必要做一些制止这种行为。我们可以告诉老师,如果我们看到有人扔垃圾,或者我们可以走到他面前告诉他那样做是不好的。

这样的行为必须停止!

2Wasting Food

It’s near the end of this year and many companies or units hold their annual meetings in this period. Most of the meetings are held in hotels or restaurants.

But a terrible phenomenon has aroused much concern that is food waste.

It’s reported that after a banquet the waste of ort reaches to 40 percent which is a huge waste. Even worse the dishes are often very expensive. Some waiters say a table leftovers is their one week wages or more. On the contrary we should be noticed that in many places in China or in the world there are many people never have a full meal. The food we waste is the feast they can’t expect. Are you hurt by the both two extreme?

I think you are or you should be. On the one hand the leftovers cost much money and labor but they do not be treasured. On the other hand some people struggle their whole life and never get a full meal. I hope people can pay more attention to food waste and remind of ourselves every day that do not waste any food.

快到年终，许多公司和单位都在这个时候举行年会，而大多数年会都被放到酒店或饭店进行。

与此同时，有一个非常不好的现象引起了许多人的关注，那就是食物浪费。

据报道，一场宴会过后，被浪费掉的食物达到四成，这是个很大的比例。然而更令人痛心的是，这其中的菜基本都很贵。有的餐厅服务员说，有时候一桌的剩菜能赶上他们一个星期的工资了，甚至更多。反之，我们也应看到在中国或世界上的许多地方，还有很多人食不果腹。我们浪费掉的食物是他们不敢奢望的饕餮盛宴。你被这样的两个极端刺伤了吗？

我想你有，或者你应该有所触动。一方面，剩菜花费了大量金钱和劳力，但却得不到珍惜；另一方面，有的人却穷极一生也得不到一顿饱饭。我希望人们能更多地关注食物浪费，时刻提醒自己拒绝浪费。

3Prohibit waste of food

How many times I have seen a company or organisation habitually waste good food?! Too many times!They are well-meaning people and they'd like to give away the food instead of wasting it by putting it in the dustbin. They'd maybe like to give the food to the needy or the poor and there's probably a few beggars just along the road if anyone was kind enough to go along and see if they are hungry.

So why don't they do it? Reason: Too many stupid rules! Just as surely as there's no pig bin anymore for food to be recycled as pork (because of various ill conceived ideas about the health of pigs if they eat other people's sunday lunches and leftovers) there's no "well let's give it to the beggars!".

Apparently beggars can in theory take the company to court if they are made ill by the food. Not that they are seriously going to be made ill by perfectly good food and not that most beggars have the money to start a legal case.

多少次我曾见过一个公司或组织经常浪费食物好吗? !太多次了!他们是善意的人们他们想放弃食物而不是浪费它把它的垃圾箱。他们也许想把食物给穷人还是穷人可能有几个乞丐沿路是否有人好心地看看他们饿了。

他们为什么不这样做?原因:太多愚蠢的规则!就像没有猪本了食品回收再利用的猪肉(因为各种关于猪的健康考虑的不周全如果他们吃别人的周日午餐和剩菜)没有“我们给乞丐!”。

4Against Food Waste

China has launched a national campaign "Eat up All on the Plates" . for the leftovers in restaurants across the country are almost enough to feed 200 million people annually according to reports.

It is a tradition for most people in China to entertain their quests with more than enough food believing that they have not satisfied their guests if there's no food left on the table which they think is a good way to show their hospitality. They think they will be looked down upon if they don't do that.

The "Eat Up All on the Plates" campaign is intended to reduce the waste and raise people's awareness. As middle school students we should do our bit to say "No" to food waste and try to develop the habit of never ordering or cooking more than what we need so as to save our limited food resources on which we depend for a better life.

中国启动了一项全国性的活动“吃光所有的盘子”。剩余的在全国各地的餐馆中几乎每年足以养活2亿人据报道。

对大多数人来说这是一个传统在中国招待他们的任务超过足够的食物相信他们不满意客人如果没有食物留在桌上他们认为这是一个很好的方式来显示他们的热情好客。他们认为他们会瞧不起如果他们不这样做。

“吃了所有的盘子”活动旨在减少浪费和提高人们的意识。作为中学生我们应该做一些对食物浪费说“不”并试图开发的习惯从未排序或烹饪超过我们需要节约我们有限的食物资源我们赖以生存的更好的生活。

5 It Is Shame To Waste Food

Nowadays with the development of our society and the world most people have no need to worry about suffering famine.

The general level of people’s living standard has been improved dramatically. As most people have enough food to eat so they don’t treasure it even waste. Actually it is not easy to grow or produce food. It needs a long time and great energy. Moreover there are still many poor places in the world whose people don’t have enough food. They still have to worry about dying of hunger. Knowing this don’t you think it is shame to waste food?

In my view no matter what situation we are in bad or good we should not waste food.

如今，随着社会和世界的发展，大部分人都不需要担心遭受饥荒。

人民的生活水平总体上有了极大的提高。大多数人都有足够的食物吃，所以他们不珍惜，甚至开始浪费了。事实上，种植或者生产食物是很不容易。需要很长的时间和精力。此外，世界上还有很多贫困的地方，那儿的人没有足够的食物。他们仍然担心饿死。了解到这一点，难道你不觉得浪费食物很可耻？

在我看来，无论我们处于什么样的情况，好的或不好的，我们都不应该浪费食物。

6Don’t waste any more

Food is important to us.

It’s everyone’s duty to save food. But at school not everyone can realize this. Many students waste much food. For example some students buy more food than they need. They leave much on the plate and then pour it into the rubbish can. Some students even throw the food everywhere for fun. Our country is a developing county. In order to make China dream come true we should save everything as well as the food in our life. What’s more lots of people are short of food in the world. They live a hard life and many of them especially some children die of hunger.

We should have a good habit. Let’s take an action part together!

食物对我们来说是重要的。

每个人都有责任节约粮食。但是在学校里不是每个人都能意识到这一点。许多学生浪费食物。例如一些学生买更多的食物比他们需要的东西。他们离开在盘子里然后把它倒入垃圾。一些学生甚至把食物到处都是为了好玩。我国是一个发展中。为了使中国梦想成真我们应该节约一切以及食物在我们的生活中。更重要的是很多人都是世界上严重的食品短缺。他们生活艰苦的生活他们中的很多人尤其是一些孩子死于饥饿。

我们应该有一个好习惯。让我们一起采取行动的一部分!

7Reduce Waste on Campus

As is known to all waste on campus has become a more and more serious problem. We can easily see many students dump a lot of food in the garbage can. Stone students spend thousands of yuan buying fashionable clothes and so on.

The negative effects of waste can be shown in the following aspects. In the first place it makes stone students dependent on their parents for money which is harmful to their development. If they don't learn to support themselves they will be "useless people" when they graduate. In the second place it is not easy for our parents to arrange for our schooling. Last but not the least important there is no denying the fact that our country is still poor. There are many people who cannot go to university and many poor people still need our help.

As far as I am concerned I should set a good example to reduce waste on campus. First of all I will refrain from wasting anything from food to stationery. What's more I'm determined to call on more school nates to fight against waste. Only through these measures can we hope to reduce waste on campus.

众所周知校园浪费已成为一个越来越严重的问题。我们可以很容易地看到许多学生把大量的食物在垃圾桶里。石头学生花几千元买时髦的衣服等等。

浪费的负面影响可以体现在以下方面。首先它使石头学生依赖他们的父母要钱这是有害于他们的发展。如果他们不学会养活自己他们将“无用的人”当他们毕业。第二我们的父母不容易安排我们上学。最后但并非最不重要不可否认的事实我们的国家依然贫穷。有很多人不能上大学许多穷人仍然需要我们的帮助。

就我而言我应该树立一个好的榜样来减少校园浪费。首先我将避免浪费任何东西从食品到文具。更重要的是我决心呼吁更多的学校上丘反对浪费。只有通过这些措施我们才有希望减少校园浪费。
