With time goes by, it becomes a bit hard for me to remember everything about myself at the first day of my college life. However, there was one thing for sure that I did feel quite excited and curious about my university. There is no doubt that students like me have struggled for a long time so that can be permitted to enter the university.
Bringing with expectation, I got into Zhejiang Gongshang University. Generally speaking, it's an interesting and fantastic place for us to study and live in. Every day a series of outgoing people get into my eyesight. Curious and out of politeness, I'd talk to them heart to heart. Here I make friends with my new classmates from everywhere around China. What's more, time and weather permitting, I will enjoy jogging or playing basketball with my classmates on the playground, tired but happy. When staying in dormitory, I choose to read news online and sometimes watch a film for relaxing. However, a good student can never leave his study behind. When it comes to study, hard problems never upset me, instead they arouse me. Rather than ignoring it, I'd think carefully for a while and ask my classmates for help.
To be honest, there are some things I don’t deal with properly. For instance, once I spent nearly a whole day playing computer games. Personally, we university students are already adults and it's our obligation to develop ourselves in college by learning new professional skills. Not until we take a right attitude towards our study and life can we win a rich and colorful experience in college.

2my college life
As we know, many people favor the idea that the college life is free and comfortable, but I’d like to say it’s not true. As a matter of fact, my life in university is so busy that I wonder if my energy is enough. As to my college life, I divide it into four parts, including study, student activities, library and the others.
Firstly, I want to talk about the study. In my opinion, study is the priority in college. When I received the letter of admission in summer, I knew clearly that what I should do. So I make up my mind to study hard and pursue learning as much as possible. I’m greatly convinced that knowledge can change my life. Therefore, I often go to the quiet study room where many people study there. By working so hard, I get good grades in the exams.
Secondly, student activities play an important role in our college life. To be honest, the student union is a good place where one can develop social skills, get his abilities trained. I take part in many student activities. For example, I’ m a volunteer, teaching the kids to learn to dance and write. I think it’s meaningful for everyone to give a hand to others. I can also do some jobs in the Student union, including receiving and sending fast mail, selling papers and magazines. I think they’re unforgettable and worthwhile experiences for me.
Thirdly, I also visit the library constantly. It’s said that “shelves of books, oceans of knowledge”, so I read books that I’m interested in. In this way, I can share stories with my new friends and it also changes my horizons .When I’m sad, lost or in trouble, staying the library makes me quiet and comfortable. After all, every life has bad moments as well as good ones, and the library for me is a support in bad moments. So it’s wise choice for me to stay in the library.
Finally, I often do other things in my spare time. In order to alleviate parents’ burden, I often do some part-time jobs and write some articles to earn money. It helps me to be independent and improve my social skills.
In short, my life in university is busy but valuable. You can see that study brings me knowledge, student activities improve myself, library changes my horizons, the others things make me independent. They get all my abilities trained. And I see that the chance will come only if you have a prepared mind, so I’m sure that I can achieve my dreams in college life.

3My college life
In my previous view college is a symbol of freedom and bright while the life in senior high school is too dull to stand. I was bound to relax myself to the fullest and enjoy my comfortable life in college I thought. Nevertheless I realize my ignorance and meagerness when I experience my real college life.
Indeed my college life is full of freedom. But to some extent freedom means much more than its original definition. It means that I have to control myself quite well in case I make no progress in my future years. It means that I have more time to acknowledge the world surroundings than others if I don’t let time pass me by. Maybe you don’t believe it but it really means perspiration as well. It means everything but relaxed ness. As a consequence I spare no effort to enrich my college life. I desire to acquire more knowledge from diverse lessons; I intend to broaden my horizon by various lectures; I want to cultivate more abilities in the course of participating in activities.
This is my true college life—free brilliant but not relaxed. Now in my perspective college life is a stepping-stone to my bright prospects. I promise to obtain it with my steady perseverance and my belief that every possible effort is to pay off.

4My college life
I am proud of being a college student. I like my college life as it is so wonderful time in my youth. As being born in small village of the remote countryside I didn't have a good education environment. However I set a goal and felt confident to be a college student. After hard study I passed the entrance examination of national college by excellent achievement. All people were proud of me as I was the first college student in my village. I was farewell warmly by them when I came to school. I was warmly welcome by school too. After then I’ve felt my study is not only for myself but also for the honor of my village neighborhood and our school.
The college life is wonderful. All life in school are fresh. New teachers new classmates and fresh friends are around me. I’ve felt their friendship wide knowledge and opening mind. The grand library school buildings and wide playground are very attracting to me. I am very eager to learn much knowledge quickly. In high school I was ever called as a runner before time. NowI know I am behind time so much in fact. I hope to catch up with the time by my hard studying. Every day you can see me get up early doing exercise hard and go to school the first one. At night I am the one who leaves away the library. The most interesting thing is that I can’t speak the PUTONGHUA well and made many funny events at the beginning， as I am from South. When I entered the classroom at first time I was headache as I couldn’t understand what the professor was speaking. I met much difficulties at math physics and other courses even though I used to be good at these sciences. Therefore I learn these courses myself after class. After three months the exmination indicated that I overcame all the difficlties. I also improved my listening and spoken ability of Chinese quickly. Communication is very important to my college life. I study English hard as well. It makes me have many chances to communicate with foreigners. I made friends with many foreign teachers and students. From them I learn many knowledge about foreign cultures. The computer room is another place I like to staying. I contact the outside world by the internet. All the News advance science and the information about internal and outside of China.
Besides study my college life is also very colorful. I’d like to take any chance to improve my communication skill. I am the monitor and playing an active role in class and school. Last year I organized a speech match in management department. All the classmates were very interested in this kind of activity. I learned from them much about their hometown their knowledge and opinions. At the same time I shew my beautiful hometown to everyone. In school I take care all the classmates around me. 5My First Year at college
College is always considered as a turning point in our educational career and life. I would use adaptation as the key word when describing my first year at college.
As we enter a new school we first have to adapt a new environment and meet new people.As we leave home and move into the school dormitory we need to learn to live and get along with other people who have different living habit. And as we start a higher level education we need to adopt a new way of study. Teachers are no more like the ones in high school that will push us to learn. Instead we have more options and spare time to do what we want.
I am glad that I have overcome the difficulties and adapted the new life of college. I have achieved a lot more than I expected at my first year of college. First of all I have made new friends who share the same hobbies and met new teachers who inspire me in all way. Secondly I have become more independent. I have got used to a new way of study and often study different things by myself. I can take care of myself without parents being by my side all the time. Last but not least I have learnt to make full use of my time. I believe time management is a very essential skill in college life as we have more freedom than ever before. It has helped me not to waste time and turned me into a well-organized person.
My first year at college is excellent and I really appreciate all that I have learnt this year.
大学总是认为我们的教育事业和生活中的一个转折点。我关键是要适应，当我的大学的第一年。
当我们进入一个新的学校我们首先必须适应一个新的环境认识新朋友。当我们离开家搬到学校宿舍我们需要学会生活和相处的人有不同的生活习惯。当我们开始一个更高层次的教育我们需要采用一种新的研究方法。老师不再像高中将推动我们的学习。相反我们有了更多的选择业余时间做我们想做的事。
我很高兴我有克服困难适应大学的新生活。我取得了很多比我想象我的大学的第一年。首先我有了新朋友共享相同的爱好和满足新教师激励我在所有的方式。其次我变得更加独立。我已经习惯了一种新的学习方式经常自己学习不同的东西。我可以照顾自己的父母没有在我身边。最后但并非最不重要我已经学会了充分利用我的时间。我认为时间管理是一个非常重要的技能在大学生活比以前有更多的自由。它帮助我不要浪费时间把我变成了一个很有条理的人。

6The bright and dark sides of my university life
Every coin has two sides. On the one hand I am quite satisfied with my university life. On the other hand life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected.
Here is the bright side of my university life: Firstly Equipment of my university is advanced and teacher team is powerful. There is an advanced library that owns all kinds of books. So we can acquire a lot of knowledge from my university. Secondly all sorts of lectures are given on campus. We can learn much knowledge that is interesting. Thirdly my campus activities are rich and colorful. Such as sports meets speech contests different social gatherings and dancing parties provide opportunities to make friends. What’s more my dormitory life is very harmonious. Dormitory life is an important part of my university life. On the one hand we can have a good rest and put our heart into study. On the other hand we will have a good mood and enjoy being together.
This is the dark side of my university life: Firstly there is only one dining room in my university. So we often need to wait in a long line which waste much time. Everyday is always fixed cuisine types which make our appetites depressed. Secondly self-study room is not enough. Now we will soon take final exam. So it is difficult to find a self-study room. What’s more network of my university is very unstable. It is difficult to search literature in my dormitory which waste too much time.In short I am quite satisfied with my university life but there is still some room for improvement. I am convinced that my university life will become better and better.
