    I’m a middle school student in Grade 8. Yesterday was Saturday and some of my classmates in primary school had a reunion at our primary teacher’s home. Our teacher taught us for four years and she treated as her own children. We loved her very much. In the afternoon, we just talked and shared our lives in middle school. Happily, most of us have a rich and happy life. Our teacher told us some interesting stories of her new students. After that, we made a big dinner together. Our teacher is a brilliant cook who can make delicious foods. We all ate much. After dinner, we watched TV for a while and then we went home. It was really a good day.

篇十四：Doomsday 世界末日

    Because of the fiction movie Farewell Atlantis, the view of doomsday is making a great clamor. Mayans once predicted December 21, 2012 is the end of the world. Under the influence of the movie, many people believe this saying. Or rather, doomsday means the end of human civilization. Actually, Farewell Atlantis is the alarm bell to human beings that we should protect our planet, culture and civilization. Otherwise, the doomsday will come soon. Besides, it reminds us of cherishing our families and friends, because you never know what will happen next second. 

篇十五：我的优缺点 My Strengths and Weaknesses

    It’s important to know our goodness and badness because it can help us to improve ourselves better. Therefore, we should know ourselves as much as we can. I think I have three main merits. They are filial piety, honest and hardworking. Filial piety and honesty are the two basic qualities that people should have. And working hard can help to get knowledge and improve myself. However, no one is perfect. I have some week points, too. For example, I never make plans for my life and study. As a result, sometimes I am a little laziness because I don’t have tasks that must be finished. I hope I can change and be better.
