1狮子与老鼠

Long ago a great lion was fast asleep in the wood. A mouse ran over the lion's paw. The great lion woke up and caught the little mouse and was going to kill her. The poor mouse looked up.“ O dear Lion! ’’ Cried the Mouse; “ Do you kill me? Please spare my life. If you spare my life now I will repay you some day.” “ How can you repay me?” said the Lion. “You are too small to help a great lion.” But he lifted the paw and away the mouse ran.

Not long afterward the lion was caught in a net and could not get out. “ I can' t break this net” he said “ I'm afraid I shall be killed.” Just then the little mouse happened to pass by. She ran up to the lion and said “ Kind friend I will help you.” She cut the ropes of the strong net with her sharp teeth. “ Thank you” said the Lion. “ I see that even a little mouse can help a great lion.”

A Little Mouse and a Big Lion live in the forest. Little Mouse is afraid of Big Lion. He always stays away from Big Lion. One day Little Mouse has big trouble. When he is walking in the grass Big Lion catches him。

"Let me go!" begs Mouse. "Someday I will help you!"

"You help me?" says Lion. "Ha ha ha!" But Lion opens his paw. He sets Mouse free。

Many days pass. One day Big Lion has big big trouble. He is caught in a big net. He cannot move. Roar!

Mouse sits up. He hears that roar and runs to help。

"Help me!" begs Lion。

Mouse starts to chew. He cuts off the ropes with his teeth and sets Lion free! Little Mouse saves Big Lion!

Lion does not laugh at Mouse now. Because he knows — even the littlest Mouse can help the biggest Lion。

一只小老鼠和一只大狮子住在一座森林里。小老鼠害怕大狮子。他总是离大狮子远远的。一天，小老鼠遇到了麻烦。当他在草丛里面散步的时候，大狮子逮住了他。

“放了我吧!”老鼠乞求道。“有一天我会帮助你的!”

“你帮我?”狮子说。“哈哈哈!”但是狮子张开了他的爪子。他把老鼠放走了。

许多天过去了。一天，大狮子遇到了非常大非常大的困难。他被一张很大的网给困住了。他不能动弹。只能咆哮!

老鼠经常熬夜。他听到了咆哮声，并跑去帮忙。

“帮帮我!”狮子恳求道。

老鼠开始咀嚼。他用牙齿把绳子咬断，把狮子放了!小老鼠救了大狮子!

现在狮子不在嘲笑老鼠了。因为他知道——即使是最小的老鼠也能帮助最大的狮子。

3狮子与老鼠

It was a beautiful sunny day when a little mouse ran and whistled joyfully past a sleeping lion.

Unfortunately the mouse’s whistling woke the lion.

The lion was angry. he opened his mouth and said “You ! I’m going to eat you!”

The mouse cried “Wait! Please forgive me I am just a little mouse but who knows if I may be able to help you someday?” The lion laughed and said “You’re funny. You think you can help me? You are weak and useless! I’ll let you go this time.” One day the lion got caught in a trap and looked for help. Just then the little mouse walked by.

He found the lion and said “Do you remember me? I have strong teeth and will help set you free.”

The mouse cut the rope with his strong teeth and said “See? I was right!”
