Dear XXX:
Last Sunday all of our class with our class together with our head teacher went to a hospital to see an AIDS sufferer. We brought a bound of flowers and a basket of fruit m send to the patient. The female patient was very glad to see us. She told us that most of the people avoided seeing her since she was told that she carried the HIV virus. The doctor told us that the HIV virus wouldn't be infected through daily communication. People in China are often ignorant of the disease and look down upon those who suffer from AIDS. It is wrong.
During our stay there we talked with the woman bout her family and our school life. Some students sent her books and their favorite CDs. She was greatly touched and said in tears that she would be optimistic and confident of overcming the disease. Our teacher hugged her good bye and promised we would come to see her often.
On our way back to school I was thinking that if everyone of us loves each other more and gives a hand when others are in trouble the world will become more beautiful.

Dear XXXX:
on world aids day people from around the globe come together in solidarity with people living with hiv to raise awareness about the disease and to urge governments and leaders to fulfill their promises to do what it takes to halt and reverse the spread of the disease.
2008 marks the 20th anniversary of world aids day. together with its partners the world aids campaign set this year's theme for world aids day as "lead - empower - deliver" building on last year's theme of "take the lead". designating leadership as the world aids day theme for 2007 - 2008 provides an opportunity to highlight both the political leadership needed to fulfill commitments that have been made in the response to aids - particularly the promise of universal access to hiv prevention treatment care and support by 2010 - and celebrating the leadership that has been witnessed at all levels of society.
2008 marks the 20th anniversary of world aids day. since 1988 the face and response to aids has greatly changed. while many of these changes are positive this anniversary offers us an opportunity to highlight how much more still needs to be done.
for example:
leaders in most countries from around the world now acknowledge the threat of aids and many have committed to do something about it. as of 2007 nearly all countries have national policies on hiv. however despite these policies most have not been fully implemented and many lack funding allocations.
while treatment for hiv and aids has improved and become more widespread since 1988 many still do not have access to it – in 2007 only 31% of those in low- to middle-income countries who need treatment received it.
despite hiv awareness now reaching nearly all areas of the globe infection rates are still happening 2.7 times faster than the increase in number of people receiving treatment.
while the number of countries protecting people living with hiv continue to increase one third of countries still lack legal protections and stigma and discrimination continues to be a major threat to universal access.
more broadly real action on hiv and aids and human rights remains lacking. legal barriers to hiv services still exist for groups such as women adolescents sex workers people who use drugs and men having sex with men and programmatic responses promoting hiv-related human rights have yet to be prioritised.
twenty years after the first world aids day we have come a long way. leadership at both the international and national levels has generated the resources to build treatment and prevention programs that are saving lives and showing evidence of impact on the disease. millions of people have benefited thanks to these efforts. however the latest unaids report on the global aids epidemic shows that hiv/aids is still a major health burden. we must all continue our work to prevent the disease from spreading further to make sure that people living with aids have access to treatment and care and to ensure that resources are available to deliver on the promises of the international community.
think you!

Dear XXX:
In the face of AIDS college students should do about it. I did not say that the face of AIDS what kind of college students bear the responsibility because the heavy weight of responsibility for these two words a lot of things that we can easily do not need to spend too much time and energy and require little effort to do this is Perhaps it will allow AIDS patients would like to see more it will enable us to AIDS prevention and control work easier.
In recent years AIDS worldwide spread rapidly to a low in 2004 the estimated number of infections worldwide has reached 40000000 or so China has also been infected nearly a million and from high-risk groups to the general population trend of the spread is still Continue. As a result AIDS is no longer far away from us it has become a seriously endangered the health of the people of the world's diseases it is in our side.
We as students should learn more knowledge and information on AIDS. Many people have a fear of AIDS there are a number of discrimination against AIDS patients and this is discrimination and fear of AIDS stems from ignorance. AIDS is a rapidly spreading infectious diseases but also a serious endanger the health of the disease at present there is no effective treatment and vaccine but its route of transmission is very clear that is sexually transmitted blood-borne and mother Infant transmission for any one to treasure the lives of their own people to prevent AIDS is not all that difficult and as long as we stay away from unprotected sex drug abuse and other high-risk behavior it is entirely possible to prevent AIDS.
In the United States 80% of the infected people are known in China have been reported infected with only "the tip of the iceberg." Census to the rate of our AIDS prevention efforts have brought great difficulties but also endanger the health of the people of the potential dangers. If people can look like flu treat AIDS like cancer they also worry about what is it?
In medicine will also be classified as AIDS sexually transmitted diseases in people's attitudes are also naturally to AIDS and improper sexual contact with. In fact in our country the proportion of sexual transmission accounted for less than 10% mostly through intravenous drug use spread and some because of poor farmers sold their blood to be infected. Even if infected with drug abuse prostitution and other acts directly related to the very beginning that they were not to follow the same path behind a sympathetic story. Even some unpardonable sin we do not have the right to deprive them of their dignity as human beings and rights. Their values we do not do too much of the evaluation. Just an insult and discrimination can only be brought about by AIDS patients to greater harm and suffering so that AIDS can only be even more rampant.
Ignorance fear and discrimination against AIDS can not be beat! Our enemy is not AIDS and HIV only! In the face of AIDS we need to break the silence on the Elimination of Discrimination! They are our brothers and sisters they would have like you and me there is the joy of life happy family looking forward to the future. However now they have been tortured by AIDS while at the same time as a result suffer from discrimination in all aspects of social pressure. Everyone needs to understand the need for care. AIDS patients and the need for more understanding and support care! AIDS patients and AIDS is a human struggle the most cutting-edge fighter let us give them enough respect to give them more care and give them the courage to survive and work together to create a discrimination and insult to the world!
Live and Let Live!
