1狐狸和乌鸦

A Fox once saw a Crow fly off with a piece of cheese in its beak and settle on a branch of a tree.

"That's for me as I am a Fox" said Master Reynard and he walked up to the foot of the tree.

"Good day Mistress Crow" he cried. "How well you are looking today: how glossy your feathers; how bright your eyes. I feel sure your voice must surpass that of other birds just as your figure does; let me hear but one song from you that I may greet you as the Queen of Birds."

The Crow lifted up her head and began to caw her best but the moment she opened her mouth the piece of cheese fell to the ground only to be snapped up by Master Fox.

"That will do" said he. "That was all I wanted. In exchange for your cheese I will give you a piece of advice for the future: "Do not trust flatterers."

有一次，一只狐狸看到一只乌鸦嘴里叼着一块乳酪飞落在一个树枝上。

“那乳酪是给我的因为我是一只狐狸。” 狐狸说着走到树脚下。

“你好乌鸦夫人。”狐狸喊道“你今天真好看 看你的羽毛是多么光亮啊 你的眼睛多么有神啊 我觉得你的声音肯定也是所有鸟之中最好听的 你的样子是那样的出众 让我听听您的歌声吧那怕只唱一首 我以后都会称你为鸟中的皇后。”

乌鸦骄傲地仰起了头，准备放声歌唱，但当它一张开嘴，那块乳酪就掉到了地上，马上就被狐狸叼走了。

“这样正好。”狐狸说，“这就是我想要的。看在你送给我乳酪的份上，我会送给你一条建议：‘不要相信拍马屁的人’。”

2狐狸和乌鸦

One day a crow found a piece of meat. She picked it up and flew to a tall tree. She was just going to eat the meat when a fox saw her. He came and stood under the tree and said "How beautiful you are!" The crow was glad to hear that. Then the fox said "I can see your beautiful face but I can't hear your beautiful voice. Why don't you sing a song?"

The crow began to sing. But when she opened her mouth she dropped the meat and the fox picked it up at once.

有一天乌鸦找到了一块肉。她叼起肉飞到一棵高树上。她正要吃肉，这时狐狸看到她。他走过来，站在树下说，“你长得多美丽啊！”听到这话，乌鸦很高兴。然后狐狸说：“我能看到你那美丽的脸，可是我听不到你那好听的声音。为什么不唱首歌呢？”

乌鸦开始唱了，可是当她张开嘴时，把肉掉了。狐狸立刻叼走了肉。

3狐狸和乌鸦

A crow stands in a tree. The crow has a big piece of cheese in its beak. A fox comes and sees the crow and the cheese. He says“What a beautiful bird!What beautiful eyes!What beautiful feathers!Has she got a beautiful voice？I don’t know!”

The crow opens her mouth and sings“Caw caw!”The big piece of cheese falls down.The fox eats it! Then the fox says“She hasn’t got a beautiful voice and she hasn’t got any brains.”

乌鸦站在树上，嘴里叼着一块奶酪。一只狐狸经过，看到了乌鸦和奶酪。他说：“好美的鸟呀！好漂亮的眼睛！好漂亮的羽毛！她的声音也会很美妙吗？我真的不知道！”

乌鸦听到后便张开嘴唱：“呱，呱。”奶酪掉下来。狐狸把它吃了。狐狸说：“她嗓子一点不美，她根本没脑子。”
