With the development of modern technology,there is no denying that people's life has become more and more convenient and comfortable.

In terms of traffic.Cars,airplanes,ship,subways,trains,etc,have become a symbol of modern society.

In terms of communication.Cellphones,computers and Internet have been used in each corner of people's life which have changed the traditional communication means absolutely.In terms of the ways of working.The Artificial Intelligence,a rising industry,has become a reality,playing a crucial role in future as well.It seems like that the modern technology has given us more leisure time than before if we see all of this from the surface.In fact,the truth stands by the other side. It is busy life which the modern technology brings us that gives us less leisure time than  before.

On the one hand,the modern technology brings us more convenient and comfortable life.

On the other hand,it also brings us too many desires.This disadvantage has come up with a negative phenomenon that people go after various kinds of desires which fills all of their leisure time.They have to be busy on making calls,taking the subways,typing the keyboard,traveling here and there hurriedly.Whatever they do,the key word is "faster".  

Perhaps the most strong evidence to prove this theory is that it is a task rather than an enjoyment  for most people so that they spend less and less time in taking a meal.   I suggest that the leisure time is the time that just belong to oneself and he can dominate it freely to do anything he like,accompanying his family member,taking a walk alone or having a good sleep simply.

2my leisure-time hobby

My leisure-time hobby is watching movies,especially western ones.After a long day and tiring study,i would isolate myself from the outer world,immersed in the movie world.

Watching movies is a joyful thing.In the first hand,i can enjoy the plots of the movies,intricate or sophisticated,that attract me lot.Secondly,when enjoying western ones,i can learn the western cultures.By means of it,i touch the western world.Last but not the least,i can share the feelings of the actors and actresses.

So watching movies really enriches my life.

我的业余时间的爱好是看电影,尤其是西方国家。在漫长的一天和累人的研究之后,我将从外部世界隔离自己,沉浸在电影的世界。

3my leisure time

Since we freshmen,there are more free time to control by ourselves.I usually do what I want in my leisure time.

Firstly,I write my own novel which I’m really interested in.That is because from cradle I have been dreaming to be a  parttime writer.Secondly,I read world-famous books.My lengthy target is to cover 25 books a  year .Thirdly,I learn to sing and dance with my classmates.Furthermore,I’m free to listen to my favourate hot music and watch latest films.In my opinion,they help me open my broaden my horizons.

As far as I’m concerned,leisure time can not only fulfil our colourful parttime life but also draw a  step forward to our ambitions.So,if you make good use of your extra time,learn and play with flexibility,you’ll make great progress .

Learning is eternal while life is limited.Try to be an excellent time-manager and do what you really intend to ,then you’ll obtain what you expect.

因为我们新生,有更多的自由时间来控制自己。我通常在我的空闲时间做我想做的事。

4my free time

Some people may be so busy that they never have a spare moment, but it would be hard to find such people in contemporary times. Working hours are shorter and vacations longer, and there are more and more ways to spend the weekends. Aside from eating and sleeping, what do people do during the many hours when they are not at work or at school?

Use of free time often discloses much about one's tastes, values, interests and personality. What may be one man's leisure, however, might be another man's work. In leisure hours, some may turn to the humanities: literature, magic, art and here we might also mention movies and television. Others participate in sports, politics, voluntary work or hobbies at home. Still others like parties, travelling, or just loafing.

Obviously, the use of free time is a good means of relaxation, but its benefits go beyond this. All things people do in leisure hours enable them to gratify their wishes. This can contribute to intellectual growth and promote social activities as well.

So the good use of free time will make life rich, colorful and rewarding.

有些人可能会很忙,他们从来没有一个空闲的时刻,但很难找到这样的人在现代倍。工作时间短,且假期很长的时间,有越来越多的方式来度过周末。除了吃饭和睡觉,人们在很多时间当他们没有在工作的时候还是在学校?
