1谈谈拥有正确的人生态度的重要性

As a saying goes, “Attitude is everything.” It means our attitude will decide whether we will succeed or not in the future. If we take a positive attitude and keep on trying , we will achieve our goals in the end.

I can’t agree more with this view. At one time I was not good at English, which made me very depressed. Then I realized that I had to do well in English to go to my favorite university. I talked with my teacher about my problem, who offered some valuable advice to me. With my teacher’s help, I improved my English gradually.

My story shows that if we have a good attitude and keep on trying, we will be able to overcome difficulty and move on. It is our attitude that plays a key role in our life.

2科学态度The Scientific Attitude

Science can help society to develop in two ways. One is the use of machines, products, and system of applied knowledge to help improve the structure of society and to control the environment. The other is the sharing of the scientists' ways of thinking and acting by all members of society.

There are several special ways in which scientists think and act. Firstly, they are curious about how and why things work, especially about problems that have no satisfactory explanation.

Secondly, they are objective and accurate to observe and utilize facts to the fullest. Thirdly, they are skeptical to refuse statements without complete evidence and reject authority as the only basis for truth. Fourthly, they are critical of the work of others. Finally, they are imaginative enough to look for relationship in data which is complex and incomplete and to make hypotheses. This is the scientific attitude, the special methods that a successful scientist uses in his work.

科学以两种方式促进社会向前发展。一种方式就是使用机器、产品和应用知识系统以改进社会结构和控制环境。另一种方式就是社会所有成员都应有科学家的思维和行动方式。

科学家有几种特殊的思维和行动方式。首先，他们刘事物运作的方式和根据有着好奇心．特别是对那些还没有令人满意答复的问题。第二，他们既客观又准确地观察和充分利用事实依据：第三，他们没有全部的根据是不会轻易接受任何观点的，而且拒绝把权威当作唯一的事实依据。第四，他们对别人的成就持批评的态度。最后，他们很富有想象力，努力寻找复杂而不完善的数据之间的关系，并做山假设。

这就是科学的态度，一位成功的科学家在其工作中所使用的特殊方法。

3对工作的态度 Attitudes towards Work

Attitudes towards work differ widely from person to person. Among a hundred people there may be a hundred attitudes towards work, but for convenience’s sake, we can categorize people into two large groups, i. e, those who have a positive attitude towards work and a negative attitude.

People who have a positive attitude towards work are usually winners. They are highly motivated and work earnestly. They can obtain not only material rewards from work, but also psychological satisfactions. To them, work is a huge ladder by which they can steadily climb to higher social positions.

Those who have negative attitudes towards work, however, are losers. Work, to them, is something they are forced to do in order to survive. Given an adequate source of food and other living necessities, they would prefer a life-style of the loafers, work is a heavy burden which they wish could be shaken off.
