1游览香山

My friends and I went to the Fragrant Mount on National Day. 

When we entered the park we were surprised to see so many flowers. They all fully blossomed. We walked along the stone road enjoying the charming view. The most interesting thing was to climb the Fragrant Mount. We climbed the Mount and at the same time we could enjoy the splendid maple leaves all over the Mount. We climbed to the top after an hour. We looked at the city from the top of the Mount. What a beautiful city it was! There stood countless tall buildings. Many cars were running along wide streets. White clouds were just above our heads.

We really had a good time that day.

The Fragrant Hill as the most beautiful sight in autumn Beijing wins its fame all over the world with its maple leaves.

The park is beautiful in other seasons too. The park has a long history. Palace were built up here for the royal sojourns in Jin Yuan Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the 10th year of the Qianlong Era of the Qing Dynasty Jingyi Garden was set up here which consists of 28 scenic sports and was known as the famous "three hills and five parks" in the suburbs of the city.

In 1956 the Garden first opened to the public. Three best routes are recommended to the tourists to climb the hill for sightseeing and each winds through respectively the northern the middle the southern part of the hill. Touring through the hill takes about 2 hours. The Fragrant Hills boasts of its beautiful landscape and tourists through out the four seasons. The most beautiful sight here is the maple leaves. They grow on the smoke trees and turn red after frosts in late autumn. Then all the hills are attired in these maple leaves which seem to reach the rosy clouds in the sky.

3香山爬山游记

Today we went to climb Xinagshan Mountain.

Early in the morning we met at the school gate and went there by bus. At nine o’clock we arrived at the foot of the mountain and started climbing. The mountain was very high and some of us got tired soon but all of us were very excited. We cheered happily when we got to the top. The view was wonderful. We had our lunch there and enjoyed ourselves very much. Unfortunately when we began to walk down the mountain we were caught in a storm. Faced with unexpected situation our teacher remained calm asking us to help each other down. So we shared our umbrellas and raincoats with each other and walked more cautiously. Finally we all reached the parking lot safely and got on the bus heading back home.

Despite the unexpected rain and wind we still had a good time.
