1邓小平

Deng was a brilliant leader in the Communist Party of China (CCP).He pioneered "Socialism with Chinese characteristics" and Chinese economic reform what is known as the reform and opening-up policy He encouraged the creation of a market economy and by the early 1990s his reforms had helped about 170 million peasants escape from extreme poverty.

Deng Xiaoping was far-sighted in directing China's foreign affairs. Deng successfully negotiated an agreement with the British government to return Hong Kong to Chinese control in 1997. Even during the Cold War he proposed "Peace and Development" as the world's two themes. To solve the Taiwan issue Deng Xiaoping proposed the "One Country Two Systems" conception which was applied first in the return of Hong Kong to China. Besides the "One Country Two Systems" conception Deng Xiaoping also proposed the three steps development strategy for China's economic construction. The first two goals to meet people's basic needs and double the country's GDP have been fulfilled. As Deng said China's next goal is to modernize by the middle of the 21st century. Then China could do more things for the world. 

In short he is the remarkable leader for Chinese people.

Deng Xiaoping has been one of the late-twentieth century's preeminent statesmen.

His impact will be felt well into the next century as China's economic reforms begin to he impressive effects and China's international power grows. The life of Deng Xiaoping mirrors the history of China in the twentieth century - beginning with a rural upbringing then militant revolutionary activities until the CCP seized power in 1949. By 1954 Deng was one of the inner circle of CCP leaders and although he endured six years of internal exile during the Cultural Revolution by 1977 he had contended for ultimate political power in China. His actions since then he been devoted to deconstructing the Maoist state introducing economic reforms while keeping a firm hold on the party-state political system and building China's international and military stature.

Deng Xiaoping was born in Guang'an CountySichuan province on August 22 1904.His family was very poor.When he was 16he went to France to study communism.

In 1924he joined the Chinese Communist Partyand began his revoutionary work.He did very wellin every warso he became an important leader of the Chinese Communist Party.

When he became oldhe advanced a new suggesion——Reform and open to the word.So form then onour country changed a lot.On how to solve the Hongkong Problemhe gave good advice——One Country With Tow Systems.So now our country can be reunited.

Now there are many books about himsuch as"A Seleted Works of Deng Xiaoping".Some people have read itand all of the world will remember him forever.
