   I like sports very much. Football, basketball, running and swimming are my favorites. But I like playing basketball most, because I think playing basketball is very cool and interesting. I often play basketball with my classmates. We are a good team. Playing basketball is a good way to make friends. After all, we have common interests.     Yesterday was Saturday. Our class went for an outing. We met at the school gate at 8:00a.m. We took a bus there. We went to theXiangshanMountain. It took about fifty minutes to get there. We climbed to the top of the mountain. From the top, we could see the whole city. It was so beautiful. We had a short rest on the top. And then, we went downhill. There is a lake in the bottom of the mountain. We had a picnic at the lake. We all took foods and shared with others. We were really happy yesterday.

    This summer holiday, I learnt to ride a bike. Because when I am going to the middle school, I must go to school by bike. My father bought a new bike for me. In the weekends, he taught me how to ride it. At first, I was nervous. I always felt that I would fall down from my bike. My father encouraged me to be brave. And he would help me and protect me. Then I was not so worried. I could ride it slowly. After two weekends, I learnt it. I could ride it by myself. I was so excited. My father was proud of me, too.
