1我的五一假日

I had a great time throughout my May Day Holiday.

On Monday I went BBQ with my classmates who threw a celebration party at our middle school principle's flat. Our parents were invited to the party. Everybody was excited about the holiday. I ate a lot of delicious food at that time.

On Tuesday I went visiting my uncle's family with my parents. We went to celebrate our good time at a fancy restaurant in Shanghai. Later that day we sang karaoke in my uncle's house. We stayed for the night.

On Wednesday I went shopping with my cousins. We bought some brand name t-shirts and pants. In the afternoon my cousins gave me a fun ride on the city highway. They also taught me how to drive their fancy car so I tried to do some turning and parking. It was not easy first. But I learnt quick.

On Thursday we returned home with many gifts from our trip. I tried to get some rest. At night I chatted with my classmates on the phone and I watched CCTV before going to bed.

From Friday on I started to finish up my homework assignments on my personal laptop. Some of my assignments were quite boring. After I finished the homework I emailed them to my teachers. That was the end of it. I started to prepare things for school on this coming Monday.

All in all I enjoyed my May Day Holiday in many ways.

2五一出游 My Labor's Day

It is a memory full of joy that we have 3 day off for labor’s day. To celebrate this short holiday my uncle decided to take us to Yangmei ancient town to have a visit.

劳动节放的那三天假是充满欢乐的记忆。为了庆祝这个短暂的假期，我叔叔决定带我们去参观杨梅古镇。

The road to the town is really painful. We waited for about 4 hours to board the ship. The mosquito on the road made my little cousin cry all the time. I felt just like it was the worst day in my life. Our car was in the end of line and the start of the line was unknown. They said there was only one ship that only brings 8 cars at a time. I considered going home but I really wanted to have a look at that ancient town so we waited. Thank god. The endless waiting did have an end. We arrived Yangmei at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

去古镇上的路是很艰难的。我们大约等了4个小时的船。在路上有很多蚊子弄得我小堂弟一整天都在哭。我感觉那就像是我一生中最糟糕的一天。我们的车停在最后面，最前面在哪里根本就不知道。他们说只有一艘而且一次只能运八辆车。我都想要回家了，但我真的很想看看这个古镇，所以我们等着。感谢上帝！无尽的等待终于结束了。我们在下午两点钟到达杨梅古镇。

The town is really amazing. Modern architectural design seems no effect the buildings there. People there still live in the house make of woods and black brick. They grow plants in the house. In the hall it is evergreen means the family is like the plant never decays. In the front door are some flowers with bright color or a tree with age. The family tree is on the wall. We can see the beginning of their family was Ming Dynasty. One of the restaurants there impressed me. The restaurant is an ancient house of a big and rich family. The house is old with a bed where people lay and did some reading in the old times. The most interesting thing was that there are two red bridal sedan chairs in the front door. They are telling the love and marriage in the old days. The house also has an attic. Water flows through the tube on the left side of it.

那个镇真是太神奇了。现代化建筑设计似乎并没对它造成任何影响。那里的人民仍然住在用木头和青砖搭建的房子里。他们在家里种植物。在大厅里种着万年青意味着家庭就像植物一样永远不会衰落。在前门种着颜色鲜艳的花，或有一定年纪的树。家谱就挂在墙上。我们可以看到他们家族的开始是明代。那里其中一个餐厅给我留下了深刻的印象。餐厅是属于一个富有的大家庭的一个古老的房子。房子很旧里面有一张床，在古代人们就躺那看书。最有趣的是，在前门有两个红色的新娘花轿。他们在说以前的爱情与婚姻。房子里面也有一个阁楼。水在阁楼左边的水管中流过去。

A river runs through this town and the water is clean. We chose a riverside restaurant to have our lunch. The food there was wonderful. We had a good time there. Despite the traffic jams. Yangmei is really a good place to visit. I hope I can visit there again when all the roads and ships are ready for cars.

有一条河横穿过这个镇，河水是干净的。我们选了一个河边餐厅吃午饭。那里的食物很美味。我们玩得很开心。尽管交通堵塞，但是杨梅仍然是个去玩的好地方。等到路和船都为汽车做好准备时，我希望我能再去那里玩。

3有意思的五一劳动节

I said : "Honeysuckle can also be down summer heat." her mother said: "You are right but the best place honeysuckle is native does not appreciate other people's live."

After the play I not only enjoy the beautiful scenery but also to understand the truth in life. Ah really gain a lot.

4五一国际劳动节 The International Worker’s Day

The international workers’day also known as May day is celebrated on the first day on May. There are more than eighty countries celebrate this festival since 1889. People may know that the worker’s day is about having a rest on that day but most of them don’t know how this day comes from and the story behind it.

五一国际劳动节，又称为五一节，在每年的5月1日庆祝。从1889年开始，全球共有超过八十个国家庆祝这一节日。人们可能会认为劳动节就是在5月1日放假，不用上班，但大多数人不知道劳动节是怎么来的以及它背后的故事。

In the late of 18 century the cruel capitalists in order to make more money they demanded their employers to work all day but only paid them with low salaries. In America the workers had to work at least 14 hours a day sometimes they even worked as long as 18 hours. Due to the unfair payment the works knew that they had to stand up and fight for their rights or all of them will die young. Then the workers started to go on strike demanded that the reasonable working hours should be 8 hours a day. However the capitalists did not pay attention to the workers’demand. The workers had to fight for their rights for themselves. On may 1st 1886 the United States and Canada’s worker unions got together to start the biggest strike. After that day the law had passed the rules that the workers’working hours would be 8 hours per day. This strike had made a different. The worker did not need to suffer from the long working hours with low payment.

在18世纪末，残酷的资本家为了创造更多的价值，他们要求工人们整天工作，却给工人支付极少的报酬。在美国，工人们每天至少要工作14个小时，有时候，他们甚至要工作长达18个小时。因为不合理的报酬，工人们深知只有站起来反抗才能获取自己的合法权益，免得他们就会过劳死。工人们开始罢工，要求每天的合理工作时间为八小时。然而，资本家们却不理会工人们的要求。工人们只有继续争取自己的权益。在1886年5月1号，美国和加拿大的工作团体聚集在一起，发起了有史以来最大的罢工。从那之后，法律通过了每天工作8小时的条例。这次罢工改变了历史。工人们不用再次忍受长时间的工作以及少得可怜的报酬。

The international worker’s day aims to memorize the spirit of brave and show our honor to the former workers. Because they had make great contribution to today’s happiness.

五一劳动节的目的在于纪念劳动者坚强勇敢的精神以及向前辈劳动人民的尊敬。因为他们付出了太多的努力来换取我们今日的幸福。
